Application Process
First step is to choose the program you want to study and the university in which you desire to study, then, submit all the required documents to the Application Form and pay the Registration fees. Within a 7 – 21 Days of completing this procedure, the University will contact to inform of your admission status.
For students who have not decided which university to study in, the easier way to get admission to study in Georgia is to fill up the Study-Georgia’s Application form.
- Copy of the passport;
- High School Certificate (Equivalent to A Levels) or BA degree Diploma (for MA degree applicants) along with transcript;
- Application fee of the University.

A few Universities may require some students to provide IELTS, TOEFL, or SAT result to study some programs.
Application Fee would be 300 USD which would be the Registration Fee.
There is no age limit for applying for a degree program in Georgia. High school applicants must have a 12th Grade High school certificate (A-Level Equivalent).
Most Universities in Georgia have no deadline for admission. So, students can get admission at any time of the year.
However, there is a deadline for getting admission to either join Fall Academic Session (September batch) or the Spring Academic Session (February/March batch). Usually, the deadline is a 45 Days before the start of the desired academic session.
The University’s consent comes within 5 working days. While the documents Translation, notarization, recognition and enrollment procedures take approximately 2 – 6 weeks depending on the university and program the applicant is applying to Study in Georgia.

Finances
The Average annual cost of studying and living in Georgia is $4,000 Per academic year not including tuition fee.
We recommend students to budget $150 – $300 per month on accommodation in the Tbilisi.
Currently, there are No full Scholarship offers for foreign students from the Georgian government.
Some Universities in Georgia offer partial scholarships for International students ranging from 25% discount on total tuition fees upwards. These scholarship are only available to students who do well academically.
Yes! You can study and work as long as your work does not interfere with your academics. However, We recommend that students have a financial plan that is not dependent on them finding a job in Georgia.
