Relations Study Key Features
- Program comprises of 240 ECTS (60 ECTS covered each academic year, 30 ECTS per semester);
- During the freshman and sophomore years, students acquire fundamental background knowledge in the history of the development of the civilization and the development of political thought as well as fundamental skills in research methods in social sciences
- During the junior and senior years students acquire deeper professional specialization and are able to follow various tracks of concentration The School hosts the Institute of Peace Studies (IPS) which involves students in its various activities: preparing thematic newsletter, grant writing, conference and workshop organization, research

Studying International Relations in Georgia: what to expect
Several Georgian universities teach International Relations in English for international students. Georgia follows the Bologna system, so a bachelor’s degree normally takes four years (240 ECTS credits) and a master’s degree two years (120 ECTS). Credits earned in Georgia use the same European credit system as most universities in Europe, which helps if you later transfer or continue your studies abroad.
Entry requirements
- For a bachelor’s program: a completed secondary-school (12th grade) certificate and transcript.
- For a master’s program: a recognised bachelor’s degree and transcript.
- English at about B2 level, shown by a certificate or the university’s own test or interview.
- A valid passport. Your education documents go through official recognition in Georgia before enrollment; we arrange the translation and submission.
