Georgia is often chosen because it is affordable compared with Western Europe and North America. “Affordable” still needs a real budget, though. Here is how to plan the full cost of your studies, from tuition to your first month’s rent.
Tuition is paid to the university and set per program. Medicine and dentistry cost more than business or IT programs, and private and public universities price differently. Current figures are on each university page, for example Grigol Robakidze University, SEU and the University of Georgia. Always ask for the fee for your intake in writing; we confirm it before you pay anything.
Our services page lists what each Study-Georgia package includes.
Living costs depend mostly on the city and the type of housing:
Tbilisi has the most universities and the widest choice of housing, but rents are higher in central districts. Batumi and Kutaisi are usually cheaper day to day. See our guide to choosing a city.
